Hello!

Hello guys!This is our new blog for Confetti Peektures! We are really excited and nervous to launch this. We have not had a blog previously because we find it hard to just put all these emotions and thoughts that we have to share, into words. All these excitement, happiness and love, just don't translate into text!

Maybe to start off with a little bit more about myself and Confetti Peektures (: What a way to kick off the long weekend. Woohoo!

Hi there! It's nice to meet you. My name is Angie, and I am the photographer behind Confetti Peektures.

I first fell in love with photography while I was in Fashion school, and my first models were not people, but rather jewellery! After graduation, I went on to do a special summer programme in Fashion Design, in New York and that kicked off my love for travel and street photography. My love to photograph people started with helping friends, and then friends' friends, and then friends' friends' friends, capture their special moments. I am blessed to have so many friends who have encouraged me to run with my dreams,  so I did. And the rest they say, is history! (:

Confetti Peektures has been established since 2011. We specialise in pre-wedding, engagement and wedding celebrations because nothing makes me feel more passionate and alive, than photographing these moments of pure love and joy in life.  I know and understand how important weddings are and that no two are alike, hence the number of weddings we cover are limited, to dedicate time to each of our couple - assisting them leading up to the big day.

Other than capturing unique love stories, the other thing I love most about Confetti Peektures are my couples who have become my dear friends through this all. Thank you for being part of this amazing journey with me (:

I am happily married to my husband, JH, whom I have known since I was 13 (time flies!) and am blessed to have him love photography as much as I do, him being involved in the arts industry too.

My perfect weekends always include JH, cups of yummy iced latte, listening to golden hits off our vinyl player and just enjoy our company with a simple homecooked dinner or watching movie off our makeshift projector screen.

I love desserts especially cake (red velvet and cheesecakes!), twinkling fairy lights and count Hawaii as my second home.
